Rhonda Pryor is a contemporary artist practicing across the disciplines of photography, textiles and painting. Her evocative, often highly personal work draws on memory, place and the senses, as a conduit to express what it means to be human. Thoughts and feelings coalesce into works that seek to subtly reflect emotional responses to experience.
Rhonda lives and works in Sydney, Australia and holds a Master of Fine Art degree from Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. She has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, and been shortlisted for awards and prizes nationally, most recently in the Paddington Art Prize in Sydney. In 2014 Rhonda was the winner of the City of Ryde’s 2014 International Women’s Day Art Prize, and she has been awarded various grants and residencies over her career.
