Rhonda Pryor

Visual artist, Sydney, Australia

Rhonda Pryor is a contemporary artist practicing across photography, textiles and painting. Her often highly personal work draws on memory, place and the senses, as means to understand the experience of being human. For these reasons her work leans toward the subtle or suggestive.

Rhonda Pryor lives and works in Sydney, Australia and holds a Master of Fine Art degree from Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. Rhonda has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, and been shortlisted for awards and prizes nationally, most recently in the Grace Cossington Smith Art Award in Sydney. She has been awarded various grants and residencies, and was the winner of the City of Ryde’s 2014 International Women’s Day Art Prize.
